Jacqueline Lewittes is a legal fellow in the MacArthur Justice Center’s Supreme Court & Appellate Program. In her fellowship project, Jacqueline will advocate on behalf of individuals denied proper medical care in carceral settings.

Jacqueline received her J.D. from Stanford Law School, where she worked in Stanford’s Supreme Court Litigation Clinic and the Stanford Criminal Justice Center and served as a Managing Editor of the Stanford Law Review. During law school, Jacqueline also interned at the Federal Defender Program for the Northern District of Illinois, Loevy & Loevy, and the Legal Aid Society of New York’s Criminal Appeals Bureau. Jacqueline received her B.A. in Law, Letters, and Society from the University of Chicago in 2022, where she also worked at the University of Chicago Law School’s Federal Criminal Justice Clinic.
