Emily Heiser joined the New Orleans office as an Investigator Paralegal in June 2016.
Emily worked as the Prisoner Re-entry Program Coordinator for Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New Orleans from 2014 to 2015. She transferred to Goodwill Industries of Southeast Louisiana at the end of 2015. There, she assisted formerly incarcerated individuals in accessing employment and other services. She visited prisons throughout the State of Louisiana to support prisoners as they prepared to return to their local communities. Emily served as a member of Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s Re-entry Working Group from 2014-2016.
Emily graduated with a master’s degree in humanitarianism and conflict response from the University of Manchester in Manchester, England in 2013. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history from Loyola University New Orleans.
