Earl Y. Lin, Appellate Paralegal in the MacArthur Justice Center’s Washington, DC office, joins the team with legal experience in private practice and government, and a demonstrated commitment to civil rights.
Previously, Earl was a paralegal with the Washington, DC firm of Mehri & Skalet, PLLC, where he worked on cases involving whistleblower protection, employment discrimination, fair housing, antitrust, and insurance law. Earl also worked on a challenge to President Trump’s Travel Ban, including assisting with amicus briefing in United States Supreme Court. While an undergraduate, Earl worked in the Legal Division of Connecticut’s Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, where he mediated and investigated civil rights claims and assisted with amicus briefing in Connecticut Supreme Court.
Earl earned his bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, graduating with Honors in History and High Honors in American Studies.
