Brad Zukerman joins the MacArthur Justice Center as a UCOP Public Service Legal Fellow. In addition to litigating police misconduct and prison conditions cases in federal appeals courts, he is pursuing novel challenges to inhumane conditions of confinement in state courts around the country. Brad earned his JD at UCLA School of Law, where he was research assistant to Professor Devon Carbado, director of the Incarcerated Persons Correspondence Project and a Senior Editor of the UCLA Law Review. Prior to joining MJC, he worked for the ACLU of Southern California Police Practices Division, the New York County Defender Service, and the Policing Project at NYU.
Brad is based in the San Francisco area and is affiliated with MacArthur’s Washington, DC, office.
